Debasis Satapathy is currently serving for NBCC (National Building Construction Corporation) New Delhi, Government of India, as Chief General Manager – HR. Previous to NBCC he was the Global HR Head for an Indian Multinational having operations in USA, UK, Africa & middle east. Debasis is currently perusing his PhD from XLRI.
Prior to the current assignment, Debasis has served leading corporates like Airtel, Idea cellular, Spice, Jubilant organosys and Ballarpur Industries Ltd in different capacities.

Integrating Mahabharat Wisdom into Modern Management Education
Debasis has authored over 150 management lessons from Mahabharat & is a visiting faculty to some of the premier business schools including IITs, IIMs, Administrative Staff College of India, Indian Institute of Public Administration etc. University Grants Commission (UGC) uses his lessons from Mahabharat for the teaching of students. Debasis has designed the curriculum of three premier “B” schools on Indian Knowledge system (IKS). He is a regular speaker on management lessons from Mahabharat and has addressed to over 5000 executives of several corporates and premier B schools. Currently five institutions are running his monthly series covering several contemporary management topics linking to Mahabharat. His mission in life is to popularize Mahabharat in the management education in India.
He has been awarded by several organisations for his endeavor in “Popularizing Mahabharat in the management education in India”.
